tEMPORARY ELECTION OFFICIAL

The Municipality of Russell Binscarth is hiring temporary Election Officials to support voting locations throughout the municipality on Election Day, Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Individuals applying to work as an Election Official should demonstrate the following core competencies:

Basic literacy skills (reading, writing and comprehension)
Basic interpersonal skills, including the ability to exercise impartiality
Ability to learn quickly
Attention to detail
Ability to follow directions and adhere to standards and safety measures
Ability to work long days (at least 13 hours)

Successful applicants will be required to attend a training session to prepare them for their role. The training session will be held on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026 at 3:00pm at the Municipality of Russell Binscarth Civic Centre, 178 Main St. N., Russell, MB.

Interested individuals are encouraged to complete the online application no later than 5:00 pm on September 25, 2026.
