Our goal is better health and personal care for all.
The Banner County Health Fund is primary purpose is to receive donations, gifts and bequests of cash and real or personal property and to use those resources, or the income generated by them, to enhance health care within the area known as "Russell Health District". The intent is also to provide local control of donation funds that are raised in this area.
Past donations have been used for:
- Refurnish waiting rooms at Hospital and Personal Care Home.
- Furnishing for Palliative Care Room.
- Big screen TV at Personal Care Home.
- Equipment for Cancer Care Program.
- Numerous other pieces of equipment.
- Blanket warmers for hospital.
- Helped pay for new digital imaging system for x-ray department.
- Awarded a $500 bursary yearly to a student entering into a health care occupation.
There are many ways you can make a difference!
