Criminal Record Check Information
"Russell RCMP are trying to steam line the growing number of Criminal Record Check requests at the local detachment. In order to speed the process, we are now adding the application instructions to the Russell Town website. This way applicants now only need to attend the detachment to drop off the completed forms and payment, and pick up once they are completed".

Criminal Record Checks for volunteers are usually free if an applicant can provide letter from the volunteer organization with the application forms.

Criminal Record Check for employment, education, fostering, pardons, adoptions, travel visa's, permanent residencies will cost $10.00 (cash only) at the RCMP Detachment

- If prints are required, other fees can apply.

Criminal Record Check Forms can be obtained through the local RCMP detachment.

**RCMP do not conduct 'Child Abuse Registry' checks, this is run by another provincial agency.  If you are required to complete a 'Child Abuse Registry' check, please go to the following website:  www.manitoba.ca/fs/childfam/child_abuse_registry_faq.html for further information and instructions on how to compete this.
