Relief Water Treatment and Distribution Operator / Labourer


The Municipality of Russell Binscarth invites applications for the position of Relief Water Treatment Plant Operator / Labourer.  The Relief Operator is responsible for the Regional Water Treatment Plant operations and associated Distribution System, and the Municipal Sewage Collection and Treatment systems. The individual will also be required to perform other duties as assigned with the Public Works department. 

 

Preference will be given to individuals who have achieved Certification for Level “II” Water Treatment Plant Operation and Level “I” Sewage Collection and Treatment.  The Municipality will provide training for those who are not certified.

Candidates are required to have successfully completed Grade 12 and possess a valid Class 5 Manitoba Drivers Licence or equivalent and have access to a vehicle.

 

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. A generous benefits package is included.

Tr-Roads Planning District- Job Posting

Planning and Development Officer 

 

Location: Russell and Inglis, Manitoba. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.

Hours: Full time, term position starting April 3rd, 2023. (With the possible opportunity of turning to permanent when term expires)

The Tri-Roads Planning District is looking for a full time, term position of our Planning and Development Officer. This position reports to the Tri-roads Planning District Board of Directors and works closely with both CAO’s of Russell Binscarth and Riding Mountain West Municipalities.

Because this position serves two municipalities, the successful candidate must be willing to travel weekly to both offices, and for site visits and meetings within the district.

This position requires a self-motivated individual, with a strong administrative background, managerial skills, knowledge of the Municipal and Planning Acts, conducting and organizing board meetings, website and social media maintenance and some financial accounting skills for billings and bank reconciliations.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows.

Lead Hand / Labourer


The Municipality of Russell Binscarth invites applications for the position of Lead Hand / Labourer with the Public Works department. 

 

Experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance an asset. Candidates are required to have successfully completed Grade 12 and possess a minimum valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's License; a higher class will be considered an asset.
